Founded in 2002 from the idea of Gianluca Zanini and Giordana Molin to create a company that specializes in information security, with a particular attention to application security, from the very beginning Kleis supports the development of security solutions for the banking sector alongside its infrastructural and application Cyber Security activities.

Kleis, having available a research and development laboratory to pursuit for innovative and cutting-edge solutions in the field of Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence, in 2007 developed its innovative anti-fraud solution based on Artificial Intelligence: the K-TM, a Transaction Monitor for the protection of online banking and online payment services from cyber frauds.

Since 2009 Kleis has been exclusively dedicated to the IT anti-fraud sector. Currently, the K-TM anti-fraud solution protects about 10 million users with an effectiveness of 98% for absolute number of frauds and 99% for the volume of money moved, with 0.01 % of false positives.

In 2018 Kleis joined Var Group as a qualified partner to protect the companies in the banking, financial and e-commerce sectors from cyber frauds related to Digital Payments, offering cutting-edge solutions for online payments, money transfer, ATM / POS withdrawals and payments, anti-money laundering and e-commerce transactions.
